Alessandra Luckey is graduating from Arizona State University in December 2018. She will receive a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a B.A. in political science. She also earned a minor in French.

She started her college journey hoping to become a cable news reporter. After an internship, that all changed. Alessandra is now pursuing a career in public relations.

Her recent internships include being a public relations intern at Banner Health, newscast producer at Arizona PBS, communications intern at Kaiser Permanente and corporate relations intern at Allstate.

Among the honors she earned during her college career, Alessandra received a student Emmy for a newscast she co-produced for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS. Also, her thesis on the narratives of the Women’s March was selected to be presented at the Southwest Education Council for Journalism and Mass Communication. She has been a member of PRSSA for a year, on the Dean’s List every semester and has a 4.21 GPA. Alessandra is a National Hispanic Scholar, Barrett Scholar and New American Scholar.
